Eat only plain rice porridge (juk) — no side dishes.

Drink the entire 400 mL within 30 minutes — in two 200 mL doses, 15 minutes apart.

Foods to Avoid
3 Days Before Your Exam
Do not eat seeded fruits, sesame seeds, or mushrooms:
Strawberries, kiwi, watermelon, Korean melon (chamoe), grapes, oranges, tangerines, green onions, mushrooms, sesame seeds
2 Days Before Your Exam
Do not eat legumes, vegetables, seaweed, or kimchi. Eggs, tofu, and fish are fine to eat.
Mixed-grain/black rice, brown rice, bean sprouts, kimchi, radish kimchi (kkakdugi), laver (gim), kelp (dasima), seaweed (miyeok), cabbage/salad, spinach
The Day Before Your Exam
For breakfast and lunch only, eat a light meal (plain rice porridge with soy sauce, white rice with broth, or castella/sponge cake with milk). After that, drink plenty of water to prevent low blood sugar and dehydration.
Please follow these precautions carefully to ensure an accurate exam. Repeat exams due to inadequate preparation will be at the patient's own expense.
Self-Check
Thoroughly emptying your bowels is essential for an accurate exam.
Even if your stool appears clear, please finish drinking the entire bowel-prep solution.
